The app control is what sold me — I can switch the whole whip to a slow orange fade without touching the remote. Rode through a dusty trail and a surprise drizzle, and it still lights up the same as day one.

The 36" whip is noticeably wider than the one I had before, and it throws a lot more light across the trail at night. Controlling the colors from my phone is handy, though I mostly just leave it on one setting.

Took it out in the rain and it didn't flinch, which is exactly why I went with the IP67 rating. The app makes cycling through colors way easier than fumbling with the remote, and this thing is seriously bright at night.
