The rubber surround on these feels way sturdier than the old paper ones I had, and the poly cone handles bass without that muddy rattle at higher volumes. Dropped them in the rear deck and vocals come through crisp even with the windows down.

Swapped these into my truck doors and the poly injection cones handle volume way better than the stock paper ones did. The 2-way setup actually separates the highs from the mids, so vocals don't get muddy at highway speed.

The rubber surround really keeps the bass tight at higher volumes, which I wasn't expecting from a 5x7. Dropped these in my truck doors and the poly cone handles everything from podcasts to rock without any harshness.
