MRANT12W

Snaked the 78" cable through my attic rafters without a single kink, and the flexible mast bent around a low joist instead of snapping like my old rigid one. Reception on my scanner came in clearer than before, though I did have to fiddle with the angle for a bit to dial it in.

The adjustable base made it easy to mount on the side of my desk instead of the top, and the 78" cable reaches my radio without an extension. Signals come in clearer than the thin whip I had before.

The flexible mast actually survives tree branches on the trail, which is why I replaced my old rigid one. Base swivels enough to get it vertical on my hood mount, and the 78" cable reaches my dash radio without an extension.
