Put these in my boat last weekend and the difference on the water is night and day. The 1" dome tweeters really cut through engine noise, and vocals stay crisp even at higher volumes. Polypropylene cones seem like they'll hold up to the salt and sun too.

Swapped my old dash speakers for these 6x9s and the difference on the water is night and day. The polypropylene cone handles spray and sun without any fuss, and I can actually hear lyrics over the engine now.

I was hesitant about marine speakers, but the resin treated cloth surround on these 6x9s feels durable and the polypropylene cone delivers surprisingly crisp mids. Installed them in my boat last weekend and they handle the open air beautifully.
